COST Networking Instruments
This page offers an overview of the COST networking instruments used within ConnectLAA. These instruments support collaboration, knowledge exchange, training, and dissemination among researchers and stakeholders across Europe, enabling mobility, capacity building, and the sharing of project results.
Training Schools (TS)
Training Schools are short, intensive courses designed to provide participants with specialized knowledge and practical skills related to the ConnectLAA topics. They bring together early-career researchers and experts to foster learning and collaboration.
Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs)
STSMs support research visits to a host institution in another country participating in the COST Action. They are an opportunity for researchers to gain new skills or knowledge not available at their home institution.
Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) Conference Grants
These grants support researchers from Inclusiveness Target Countries to give an oral presentation of their work at international conferences not organised by the COST Action. These grants help increase the visibility of both the researcher and the Action.
Dissemination Conference Grants
Dissemination Conference Grants help researchers present results from the COST Action at relevant conferences. This promotes the project’s findings, encourages external engagement, and increases the impact of the work.
Virtual Networking Tools (VNTs)
Virtual Networking Tools support online collaboration activities such as virtual meetings, workshops, and discussions. They enable continuous interaction among participants, especially when physical meetings are not possible.
